and the creative and exceptional talent of the artists in our group.
One of the major aims of our group is to reflect the daily life
and spirit of our Planet as seen through their eyes.

This is a Showcase Club designed for your artistry to take center stage.



Themes and Folders

All our folders represent their respective themes and are named accordingly.
The Three main themes and the folders representing them are as follows:



Civilization:

Rural
Urban & Cityscapes
Transportation
Architecture
                 
Folders Representing Civilization must feature man made elements as the primary subject.



Humanity:

Street                                        
People
Photojournalism

Folders Representing Humanity must feature regular people - not models, professional or otherwise.
Therefore, Fashion and Glamour photos will not be accepted here.
Likewise for snapshots (in any category).



Nature:

Animals
Skies          
Scapes

Folders Representing Nature must feature some element of nature as the primary subject.




A Word About Street Photography

Street Photography does not mean taking photographs of streets.
It's about taking photographs of regular people, strangers engaging in their usual, everyday activities in a public environment.
Street Photography is about documenting the lives of people, their interactions with each other and their surroundings.
But most importantly, Street Photography is all about capturing the moment.

Although photographing animals and objects in a street environment is acceptable,
but as per our theme requirements, we will only accept photos that have people in them.
We will make an exception, every now and then, for non-human street photographs only if they're exceedingly well taken.
Be warned, however, the chances of that happening are extremely rare.

Reality Portraits

Reality Portraits is our special feature that presents engaging pictures of real people in real situations, experiencing real emotions, desires and associations, as well as illustrating their lives, personalities and culture.
Posed portraits are acceptable here as long as they have a cultural significance to them.
Members can view, but cannot submit into this folder, unless requested for inclusion by the group admin.


Our Goal

Through these folders, our goal as a group will be to show and reflect the various ways in which artists record the daily lives
of People, their Cities, the Nature around them, and the many joyous moments in life that occur even under the most dire of
circumstances.

They will also show in very large, and sometimes in very small and often unnoticed ways, that each and every day art impacts
our way of life, thought, and our actions.
Art is, and always has been one of the truest and most glorious records of our society and the wonderful world we live in.

The members and their creativity are the heart and soul that keeps this artistic community alive and growing.
As a Group representing Artists from all of the different Nations of this World,
we foresee it evolving into a Club that will display through your eyes,
all of the richness, the variety, the very special unique nature of our World,
and the many faceted talents of its' many peoples.
